COLLIDER: Community Tile Project – Sgraffito & Surface Design

Participants will decorate pre-made ceramic tiles using underglaze painting and sgraffito techniques (scratching designs into the surface). Each participant will create two tiles, one to take home and one to contribute to a collaborative artwork. The contributed tiles will be assembled into a unified art piece that will be displayed at the library, celebrating creativity, community, and shared storytelling. No prior experience needed, but space is limited and sign ups are required. To be fair to others, please only sign up for one of the clay workshops. All students will need to leave contact information to pick up projects 3-4 weeks later after clay firing process.
