COLLIDER: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Found Poetry

Words are everywhere we look. In this adult writing workshop with COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Sarah McCartt-Jackson, participants will explore “found poetry,” the art of transforming existing language into new poems. Through guided prompts and examples, participants will discover how to “recycle” words from the world around us to create surprising and meaningful poetry. The workshop includes time for writing, optional sharing, and prompts to take home, with an opportunity to share finished poems. Space is limited and registration is required.
