Program Description

Event Details

Throughout the month of May, COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Sarah McCartt-Jackson will invite library patrons to help create a collaborative community poem. Participants can respond to an open prompt at the artist’s studio by writing a line, drawing an image, or sharing a short story or memory. Each contribution becomes part of a growing collective piece. This gathering on May 30th will be to release the final poem created together by recording it for the public and honoring the many voices of our community. If you have questions or would like to contribute to the poem prior to May 30th, email Liz.Magee@lfpl.org.
