Event Details
Join the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife at the Southwest Regional Library for a hands-on workshop covering the basics of catching, cleaning, and cooking fish. Following a live demonstration and tasting, participants will head to Waverly Lake for a guided fishing session. All equipment is provided for this event.
Please note that participants aged 16 and younger require adult supervision for the cleaning and cooking segments. While those under 16 may fish without a license, anyone 16 or older must possess a valid Kentucky fishing license to participate at the lake.
This class is offered in partnership with Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife and Metro Parks.
