Event Details
Students in 9th to 12th grade learn what distractions and impairments can look and feel like to aid in learning driver and passenger safety. This class outlines the dangers of reckless and distracted driving and the importance of good decision making behind the wheel. Topics include, but are not limited to, cellphone use, drowsy driving, proper seatbelt use, empowerment of passengers, the effect of drugs and alcohol on the brain and decision-making, and graduated driver licensing laws.
