Join Ambo Dance Theatre Company for a dance/movement workshop that promotes self-expression and social connection in the tiniest dancers. Ages 0-5.

Participants will explore the amazing world of garden insects and discover their importance in a healthy backyard ecosystem.  Each child will be able to construct their own bug hotel and take it home.

Plants in need of a haircut? Bring your cutting in to trade with other plant enthusiasts. Limited propagations will be available at the branch for patrons to take home while supplies last. Indoor and outdoor plants are welcomed. 

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play Mahjong but never had the chance?  Come and join us at the Parkland Library and learn with us! Ages. 18+

Stop in with gently used puzzles and board games to leave for others, and/or take some home. We’ll also have tables set aside for open puzzling and gaming.

Local artist Haley will offer craft session for adults.  No experience necessary.  Supplies provided. In May attendees will be able to choose from a variety of small earring sized wood blanks to paint or stain.

Learn the basics of coding in Python and create a simple text-based game or app. This program is best for those who are comfortable using computers, but no prior coding experience is necessary.
