A storytime for developing pre-literacy skills and a love of reading through books, songs, movement and activities. Ages 2-4.

Join UpBeat Louisville for 45 minutes of jamming fun. The Rhythm Kids program explores music, movement and drumming. We'll undertake traditional drumming patterns, create animal movements, and sing and dance to music from around the world.

Learn about different habitats while making fun projects with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Low sensory environment for kids and their adults. 

Teens use available supplies to create art inspired by deep sea creatures.  

Join us at the Teen Outpost for a relaxing and peaceful environment to focus on your cozy hobbies. Outpost Café provides a soothing ambiance, along with warm beverages and pastries for a delightful coffeehouse experience.
Ages 10-19.

Enjoy teen space with the art cart and board games. Middle and high school students.

STEAM:  Catapults

Drop in for an afternoon of activities at the Library, just for kids!  Snacks provided.  Ages 6-11

Come experiment with two different forms of sun printing! Attendees will create long-exposure and short-exposure sun prints with provided cyanotype paper and anthotype printing with turmeric. Ages 5 – 18.

We all contribute to the health of our waterways and the watersheds in which we live.
