Ending Homelessness In Our Lifetime – A Conversation to Action Event

PastSunday, January 23, 2022 - 02:30 PM - 04:00 PM

Increased visibility, both in the news and on the streets, has brought the issue of homelessness to the foreground in Louisville and nationwide. Homelessness is something that touches each and every one of us, whether we recognize it or not. How can we, as a city, work to make sure that all of our citizens live with a sense of security and a place to call “home”? Join us in this meaningful dialogue with local leaders. Raise your voice, and your hand, and learn about what you can do right now to begin to address this community wide issue.

Guests will include: Metro Councilman Jecorey Arthur; Tony Curtis, Director of Development at Metropolitan Housing Coalition; Celine Mutuyemaria, Community Policy Strategist at Louisville Urban League; Giselle Danger-Mercaderes, JCPS Student Equity and Community Engagement coordinator; and Susan Buchino, Louisville Metro Homeless Services Director.

This program is free and open to the public but registration is required. Click here to register online or call (502) 574-1623.
