Events at LFPL

Flamenco Louisville perform authentic flamenco music & dance while whisking you away on a tour of southern Spain. Dancers in colorful costumes perform intricate movement & rhythmic footwork, accompanied by live singing & guitar. Various cities and regions of Andalucia are introduced between pieces, connecting them with their traditional "palos" (song forms). Audience members will be asked to join in with "jeleos" (words of encouragement) and "palmas" (hand clapping). The program includes historical & cultural information about Spain and the Spanish-speaking nations. Concluding with a Q&A with the audience. Be sure to bring your Cultural Pass! All ages.
