Ukraine & Russia at War: Historical & Contemporary Perspectives Short Course
PastThursday, July 14, 2022 - 06:30 PM - 08:00 PM
The war between Ukraine and Russia has roots that stretch back for decades. Any attempts to understand both the causes of this conflict and the possible solutions to it have to take into account historical context, the present cultural and political ideologies of both countries, and the current military situation. In this course, faculty from the University of Kentucky's Russian Studies Program in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and from the Patterson School of Diplomacy will examine political, military, and cultural history, as well as current thought and social discourse in the region. This program is presented by MyLibraryU and is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. Click here to register
