Unleash the artist in you with our Little Artists program, where children will experiment with various styles and elements of art.

Family playdate is a chance to meet new families and enjoy social playtime. We provide the toys and coffee. This is a relaxed drop-in program for ages 0–6.

Low sensory environment for kids and their adults. 

Click, draw, record, and play with sound through Chrome Music Lab, a free, interactive, visual interface that blends music and art. Bring your own laptop, tablet, or phone, if possible. To use a library laptop, adult supervision is required.

Attendees can participate in Derby pageantry at the library and create a head-turning hat from provided supplies.

Homeschooling elementary aged kids and their families are invited to join us on Monday afternoons to explore stories, demonstrations, and activity stations centered on the week’s stupendous STEAM theme. Ages 5-11 and their families.

Join us for our weekly game program featuring games like Mario Kart, Madden, 2K, Uno, and many more!

Join us for our weekly family storytime at the Western Library!

Drop in every Tuesday between 3:00 and 5:00 PM for some afternoon fun. Please note that the last half hour of the program will include time to wrap up our activity and clean up. Perfect for grades K-6 and families.

Looking for a calm and quiet place to relax and hang out in the afternoon? Join us for Cozy Corner from 3-5 PM! 

Learn how to make a custom fairy door for your home or garden! Craft supplies will be provided.  Recommended for ages 7 - 18

Come to the library to transform a small tin box into a fun art piece, a magnet, or a mini keepsake box. Feel free to bring your own used Altoid tin, or use the tins provided.

Enjoy a light breakfast or snack while we read themed stories.  Pajamas welcome!  Ages 0-12
