Adults and teens are welcome to use the Maker Lab during open hours.

Join us as we envision and create! Different mediums will be explored every month, including painting, collaging, clay sculpting, and more!

Start a windowsill herb garden.  In this workshop you will decorate a recycled container to start your seedlings in. Jennifer will discuss the basics of starting seeds and how to care for your indoor herb plants.

Create a custom tote bag using infusible ink and the Library's Cricut machine.  Teens will choose from a selection of designs and heat-press their own vibrant, permanent artwork onto a tote to take home.  All supplies provided.

Take a FREE full length ACT practice test for students who wish to gain experience taking the ACT. Please bring two #2 pencils and a calculator.

Join us at the Teen Outpost for a relaxing and peaceful environment to focus on your cozy hobbies. Outpost Café provides a soothing ambiance, along with warm beverages and pastries for a delightful coffeehouse experience.

Teens can use fabric dye to create vibrant designs. Participants may bring up to two of their own 100% cotton items, or choose from a selection of provided, preloved clothing items to dye. Ages 12-18.

Enjoy teen space with the art cart and board games. Middle and high school students.

The great poets of our time pair up with the greatest writer of all time.  Students explore Shakespeare's sonnets and verse alongside contemporary music to discover rhythm, poetry and language.  Ages 6-18.

Celebrate the infinite usefulness of duct tape by creating your own duct tape wallet! Materials will be provided.  Recommended for ages 10 - 18

Join us for a fun, hands-on craft session perfect for kids and their Dads.  Together you will transform simple rocks into creative photo holders using wire, paint and plenty of imagination.  All supplies provided.

This workshop encourages middle school students to set their sights on education after high school. Students will discuss career options and what they can do to earn scholarship funds to help pay for college. For grades 6-8.
