Start a windowsill herb garden.  In this workshop you will decorate a recycled container to start your seedlings in. Jennifer will discuss the basics of starting seeds and how to care for your indoor herb plants. Limit 15.

Adults and teens are welcome to use the Maker Lab during open hours. All patrons must have completed the online Maker 101 training and have a LFPL library card in good standing before using equipment.

Join us as the UK Cooperative Extension introduces culinary basics focusing on cooking terms, food cutting skills, and kitchen safety. Participants will also follow a recipe to prepare their own meal. Ages 12-18.

Join The Book Works for Voices & Vibes, where middle and high school students express themselves though workshops, discussions and collaborative art projects that promote literacy, build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and connect

Join us at Western for our weekly Teen Time meet-up! We will be engaging in a new activity each week, including arts & crafts, STEM, music, or games.

Ready for adventure, merriment, and treasure? Test your skills in a game that has something for everyone. Go on a quest, develop a character or a realm.

Join us weekly at Parkland to hang out at the Teen Scene, where hanging out is what we do best! Each week, we will be participating in a new activity that is art, STEM, or recreation-based. For middle and high school students.

Calling all homeschool high schoolers! Join us for a teen-led book club. You and your fellow members choose the books.  It’s your choice, your voice, and your space to talk books.

Join us at the Teen Outpost for a relaxing and peaceful environment to focus on your cozy hobbies. Outpost Café provides a soothing ambiance, along with warm beverages and pastries for a delightful coffeehouse experience.

Mark your place with your own cute creation! Attendees will learn how to make origami bookmarks with custom decorations. 

Join our Chef In Residence, known as The Allergy Dragon, to learn how to make her award-winning Sweet Potato Curry Gravy and Sourdough Biscuits! Award-winning, even without gluten, wheat, dairy, egg, nuts, soy, sesame, or animal by-products.

Come join us for dice-rolling adventures in the world of fantasy, with more complex rules systems and intricate plotlines. This program is designed for those who are familiar with tabletop RPGs, especially Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition (2014).

Join fiber artist, Briana Frederick, to learn about patching, mending, and adding pockets to garments. Bring scraps, old and worn shirts, pocketless cardigans, or whatever garment you want to renew or make into patches or pockets.

Join us in the Teen Outpost for tabletop gaming! Put down that controller and join us for a fun afternoon of games. We offer a variety of board games, cards, chess, as well as supplies for your own Dungeons and Dragons campaign. 

Join us in learning a new craft such as crochet, embroidery, using a loom, or relax in a welcoming setting, bringing a craft to share.
