Join local improvisation actors for a lesson on how to do your own Improv!  No prior experience necessary- we will teach you the ropes!

When people design systems, environments, and products with different personal needs in mind, the world becomes easier to navigate for everyone.

Join us for an ocean storytime followed by ocean activities and crafts. Ocean-themed snacks will be served from our Charlie Cart mobile kitchen.

Ages 3-12
 

Join us at the Welcome Center of Jefferson Memorial Forest for a nature-themed storytime and activities! If rain or excessive heat, the program will move indoors.  Ages 0-6

Learn beginner photography skills and how to take clean photos with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Please bring a camera, phone, or tablet.

July 6 – Zooming with our Feet: Photos of Words 

Join us in the Teen Space for video games, board games, and simple craft projects. For middle and high school students.

Join us for discussions about anime and manga, Japanese-inspired crafts and games, watching the latest anime, and tasting treats from the Far East.

Join your friends at the Shawnee Library for an entertaining feature full of action, drama, humor, and adventure! Ages 12-18.

Storytime is an opportunity for families to bond over shared stories and songs, as well as engaging in creative activities that reinforce a lifelong love of learning. Ages 0-6

Join a Good Karma Yoga instructor for gentle activities and breathing exercises designed with toddlers and preschool-aged children in mind.

Join us for painting your own hanging bird feeder.  Supplies provided.  Ages 5-12 To register, call 502-267-5713

Filled with lots of laughter and learning, children practice fun and challenging yoga poses, partner and group poses, yoga games, breathing, and basic anatomy.

Students will learn culinary basics focusing on cooking terms, food cutting skills, and kitchen safety. Participants will also follow a recipe to prepare their own meal. Ages 12-18.

Join us at the Outpost for a weekly night of board games, video games, and snacks! 
Ages 10-19.

Teens will gain hands-on experience in the kitchen while building confidence, self-reliance, and essential food literacy skills that last a lifetime with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office using our Charlie Cart mobile kitchen.
