Take an inside look of our ambulance.  Our team of EMS professionals will answer your questions about what it takes to respond to emergencies in our community!  Learn hands-on only CPR in ten minutes from the America Heart Association.

Support developing skills and make new friends through stories, songs, activities, and playtime! For children aged 0-8 and their caregivers.

Presented by Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness, this Bike Safety Rodeo is a fun, hands-on program designed to teach essential bicycle safety skills.

We will meet at The Shawnee Park ECHO Office, 230 Southwestern Pkwy.  In the event of inclement weather we will meet at the Shawnee Branch.  

Filled with lots of laughter and learning, children practice fun and challenging yoga poses, partner and group poses, yoga games, breathing, and basic anatomy.

Join us for a special story time was we read our book “Tapper’s Big Adventure: Where’s the Water” Children will discover the many ways people use water through our mascot, Tapper.

Fun, silly and thoroughly entertaining! This comical trickster is secretly known as Ken Neuhauser. All Ages.

Get up close and personal with some of our reptile friends, and check out furs and bones of Kentucky wildlife.

Kids will step into the author's seat by writing their own unique story in this interactive workshop with local author Brittany J. Thurman.

Bring a white t-shirt to dye and learn tie-dye techniques with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Ages 9-18.
 

Drop in every Tuesday between 3:00 and 5:00 PM for some afternoon fun. Please note that the last half hour of the program will include time to wrap up our activity and clean up. Perfect for grades K-6 and families.

Enjoy a weekly kids only craft time, socialize after school and make something fun to keep! Materials provided.

Ages 0-19.

Learn, share strategies, and play the classic game of chess with players of all skill levels. Challenge your local librarian for bragging rights as we get better together!

You don’t need to like fish to enjoy candy sushi – just a sweet tooth! Attendees will learn how to make familiar sushi varieties out of provided candy.  Recommended for ages 7 – 18 

Pokémon fans between the ages of 5-12 meet the third Thursday of each month to play, trade cards, talk about your favorite Pokémon characters, and/or do a simple craft or other activity. Ages 5-12.

Join us for our weekly family storytime at the Western Library!

This program will feature a variety of classic and new board games. So come enjoy an hour of fun and friendly competition! Ages 6-12

Calling all boys who love to dance! Join male dancers from the Louisville Ballet along with the Louisville Ballet Community Engagement team as we explore boys and ballet.

Storytime is an opportunity for families to bond over shared stories and songs, as well as engaging in creative activities that reinforce a lifelong love of learning.
