We will meet at The Shawnee Park ECHO Office, 230 Southwestern Pkwy.  In the event of inclement weather we will meet at the Shawnee Branch.

Truck Demonstration Participants will have an opportunity to see, touch, and safely explore a recycling truck. For Ages 3-12.

Build with the library’s collection of LEGOs, explore sensory bins, and enjoy a snack!

When people design systems, environments, and products with different personal needs in mind, the world becomes easier to navigate for everyone.

Join us for an ocean storytime followed by ocean activities and crafts. Ocean-themed snacks will be served from our Charlie Cart mobile kitchen.

Ages 3-12
 

Learn beginner photography skills and how to take clean photos with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Please bring a camera, phone, or tablet.

July 6 – Zooming with our Feet: Photos of Words 

Explore how litter accumulates and travels from one community to another.  Hands-on activities that help children learn about how litter and pollutants travel through our waterways. Limit 30. Ages 8-11

Learn about different habitats while making fun projects with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Drop in for an afternoon of activities at the Library, just for kids!  Snacks provided.  Ages 6-11

Come and create your own character, build a fantastic world, and explore it with your friends as we learn how to play collaborative games.

Learn, share strategies, and play the classic game of chess with players of all skill levels. Challenge your local librarian for bragging rights as we get better together!

Come enjoy a variety of building materials like Play-Doh, LEGOs, blocks and magnetic tiles along with a series of building mini-challenges! Ages 3 – 18.
