Join the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife at the Southwest Regional Library for a hands-on workshop covering the basics of catching, cleaning, and cooking fish.

Join us at the Welcome Center of Jefferson Memorial Forest for a nature-themed storytime and activities! If rain or excessive heat, the program will move indoors.  Ages 0-6

Join a Good Karma Yoga instructor for gentle activities and breathing exercises designed with toddlers and preschool-aged children in mind.

Step into a world where books roar to life and imagination runs wild! In Tom Foolery’s “Wild about Reading!” Magic Show, young readers embark on a thrilling safari through stories, spells, and surprises.

Join UpBeat Louisville for 45 minutes of jamming fun. The Rhythm Kids program explores music, movement and drumming. We'll undertake traditional drumming patterns, create animal movements, and sing and dance to music from around the world.

The Book Mobile is coming to Iroquois! Hop aboard and check out some books.

Students will learn about how plastic is made, what it is used for, different kinds of plastic, and its life cycle. This program is best for ages 10-14.

Bring your family and friends and join us for an hour of pretend play fun! This is a time for children and parents to interact socially and make connections. Ages 5-12.

Learn beginner photography skills and how to take clean photos with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Give an ordinary notebook a glow-up!  In this hands-on workshop, teens will transform a plain notebook into a stylish, fabric-covered journal.  No sewing skills required.

Learn about different habitats while making fun projects with our local 4-H Cooperative Extension Office.

Come and enjoy the hot drinks, cozy atmosphere, and study spaces in Northeast Regional Public Library’s new Teen Café! Take a break to enjoy a craft, game, or other relaxing activity.  Ages 12-18 

Every 2nd Monday evening we will have read a book and discuss it. Then we’ll gather together the 3rd Monday evening and watch a film adaptation of it. We will then discuss how different they are. How similar.

Join your friends at the Shawnee Library for an entertaining feature full of action, drama, humor, and adventure! Ages 12-18.

LFPL’s AnimeCon is right around the corner on July 24th, so let’s get crafting! Teens are invited to bring their own costume or cosplay projects and work on them in a collaborative, welcoming space.

Learn, share strategies, and play the classic game of chess with players of all skill levels. Challenge your local librarian for bragging rights as we get better together!

Come experiment with two different forms of sun printing! Attendees will create long-exposure and short-exposure sun prints with provided cyanotype paper and anthotype printing with turmeric. Ages 5 – 18.

We all contribute to the health of our waterways and the watersheds in which we live.
